Remote Sensing in Abruzzo Eartquake
Helica’s deployed remote sensing technologies in Earthquake stricken Abruzzo Region, after the 6 April 2009 main event of Magnituide 6,3. Proven an extremely valuable support to the management of the emergency, the airborne remote sensed data was provided by Helica and its technology.
The airborne remote sensing technique is extremely valuable in order to asses the situation of the territory, of its infrastructures and the damage caused by the disaster. This data is use to support the emergency crew and to put the basis for the reconstruction planning.
