An accurate estimation of the biomass volume is necessary for the effective environmental management and economic realisation of large areas of Forest.
The use of laser data together with any hyperspectral analysis, enables us to quickly and accurately catalogue and quantify woodland assets.
The collaboration between Helica and OGS has led to the development of an application which is at the leading edge in terms of accuracy and speed of analysis.

LiDAR data, when processed properly, can now give us the following important results:
