These are 12 channels dual-frequency GPS receivers able to collect both L1 and L2 satellite frequencies and record data at a rate greater than 1Hz.
The data obtained from these stations, positioned at fixed points in the area to be surveyed (usually geodetic points in the IGM95 network), is used to accurately determine the trajectories of aircraft in order to georeference the laser-scan.
